Privacy notice
What we collect, why, and what we don't do.
Who we are
GXPOL is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, or to use any of the rights below, email [email protected].
This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser and is never sent to us.
To show the published readings, your browser asks the GXPOL API for them. Our hosting providers (Cloudflare for this site, Google Cloud for the API) receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page, as any web server does, and keep short-term logs for security and to keep the service running.
When you email us
We keep your name, email address, organisation and what you tell us, so we can reply and arrange a demo. If you send fund holdings for a demo, we agree with you beforehand how the file is handled and when it is deleted.
Clients
We keep the details of the people we issue access keys to, and a log of how each key uses the API (what was requested and when), for security, billing and support.
Decisions, holdings and notes entered in the client portal are currently stored in your own browser. They are not sent to us.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data, share it with advertisers or use it to build marketing profiles. We don't use client holdings for anything other than the work you asked for.
Why we use it, and for how long
We use enquiry and client data because we have a legitimate interest in replying to you and running the service, or because we need it to perform a contract with your firm. We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with them, and client records for the length of the relationship and any period the law requires after it.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this notice changes, we'll update the date at the top of the page.
